Answer: If you'll cough up $1,000 for a new phone, you can stop wondering.
The Apple iPhone X (pronounced “ten”) hit stores Friday, and the arrival was greeted as usual with Apple fans lined up to be among the first to get the latest version of company’s flagship product.
If you are among those considering the new phone, you’ll have to get that wallet open. The phone certainly is not cheap. The iPhone X with 64GB of storage starts at $999. The 256GB model is $1149.
The phone comes in two colors – silver and space gray.
If you are looking for the phone, here are a few places you can try.
You can buy an unlocked Apple iPhone x through Apple's upgrade plan. The 64GB iPhone X will cost $49.91 per month. The
256GB version will cost $56.16 per month.
That is for a 24-month payment plan for an unlocked phone.
Under AT&T Next, you will pay $33.34 a month for a 64GB model, $38.34 for a 256GB iPhone X.
T-Mobile is asking for $279.99 down for the 64GB model, then $30 a month for two years. If you want the 256GB version, the down payment is $429.99 plus $30 a month.
T-Mobile is offering $300 toward the iPhone X if you trade in an iPhone 6 or newer as long as it is in "good condition."
Verizon is offering discounts on iPhones X if you trade in an older phone. For the 64GB model, Verizon is charging $41.66 a month. For the 256 GB model, the monthly charge is $47.91.
