The unusual antlers on a possible world-record deer bagged earlier this month could be worth $100,000, according to a leading buyer.

Stephen Tucker, 26, shot the 47-point buck using a muzzleloader hunting in Sumner County, Tennessee, according to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.

Tucker has the antlers stored in a bank as he waits the 60-day drying out period for the antlers to be officially measured, according to USA Today.

“It’s hard to put an exact number on it, but to the right buyer, it could be worth a hundred grand,” Jared Steele, owner of Great Antler Buyers, told USA Today. “Especially if it turns out to be a world record, because there are people who collect stuff like that who are millionaires. To them, it might be worth more than $100,000. You never know.”

The antlers were measured at their farthest points using Boone and Crockett Club requirements for non-typical racks. The rack measured at 313 and 2/8 inches. That score fell to 308 and 3/8 inches after accounting for deductions defined by Boone and Crockett.

The world record is 307 and ⅝ set in 2003 by an Iowa hunter.

Tucker has been inundated with requests, but is not sure what he’s going to do with them.

"I don’t have any plans for it right now,” Tucker said. “I don’t know what I’m going to do. I'm just going to go with the flow. I just feel very blessed.”
