Tempers flared at a McDonald’s restaurant in Bloomington, Indiana, Tuesday when an employee accused another worker of moving too slowly.

A 21-year-old male worker became so enraged at an 18-year-old female colleague during an argument, he hurled a cheeseburger at the woman, striking her in the face, according to WXIN-TV.

He’s now facing battery charges after the woman called police.

Although the woman was not injured in the incident, she told police she wanted to press charges against her co-worker, WXIN reported.

The McDonald’s manager on duty at the time witnessed the argument and confirmed to officers that the female employee was working very slowly, upsetting the other workers.

The male worker is now charged with a count of misdemeanor battery.
