Using one of Jet Pack International's Go Fast jetpacks, Macomber blasted off from the top of Denver's Four Seasons hotel. The flight was filmed for a documentary by the Smithsonian Channel.
He flew over downtown Denver for 22 seconds before gently landing back on the rooftop, KUSA reported.
The documentary is said to "explore the past, present, and future of jetpacks on land, in space and over water."
