For the 25th consecutive year, the Labrador retriever is the No. 1 most popular dog in America.
The American Kennel Club announced the complete list Monday.
The AKC said the reign is the longest of any breed since the AKC began the popularity ranking in the 1880s.
"The versatile, lovable Lab has firmly planted its paw print in AKC's history," AKC Vice President Gina DiNardo said in a press release. "But keep your eye on the French bulldog. The Frenchie has risen 32 spots over the past decade and shows no signs of stopping."
At number two on the list is another popular breed, the German shepherd.
Labrador retriever's relative, the Golden Retriever is at No. 3.
The top three remains unchanged since 2013.
Other popular breeds high on the list are Siberian huskies, which have increased in rank each year and is currently at No. 12 on the list.
Bigger dogs have been moving up on the list.
The Leonberger moved up eight spots to 101 to 93.
The cane corso is up 12 spots to 35 from 47 and the Norwegian elkhound has moved up 12 spots as well from 100 to number 88.
Smaller dogs seem to be on the decline. Chihuahuas, Shih Tzus, bichon frises and Malteses have fallen in rank.
DiNardo said Americans gernerally like "easy-to-care-for, fun family dogs."
The listings come from 2015 AKC registration data, and does not include mixed breeds.
