Austin, Texas, is of one of the worldwide locations for a meetup Saturday for supporters of Roosh V, a self-styled neomasculinist who advocates for the legalization of rape.

Roosh V’s blog, Return of Kings, has instructions for supporters to meet at a downtown park in Austin on Saturday night. They were even given coded messages so they can identify themselves.

Protesters in the United Kingdom have called for Roosh V to be banned from the country after he announced the meetings. Other Texas cities where meetings are planned include San Antonio, Dallas, Houston and El Paso.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has issued a statement about the several events planned across Texas for supporters of Roosh V and the pro-rape, anti-feminist supporters of Return of Kings, calling the group “pathetic.”

“This pathetic group and their disgusting viewpoints are not welcome in Texas. I’ve spent much of my career protecting women from such vile and heinous acts, and it won’t be any different on my watch as Governor.”

Roosh V, whose real name is Daryush Valizadeh, has written anti-feminist books that detail his methods for luring women into having sex with him. He has written that he believes rape should be legal if it takes place on private property.

“Without daddy government to protect her, a girl would absolutely not enter a private room with a man she doesn’t know or trust unless she is absolutely sure she is ready to sleep with him,” he wrote. “Consent is now achieved when she passes underneath the room’s door frame, because she knows that that man can legally do anything he wants to her when it comes to sex. Bad encounters are sure to occur, but these can be learning experiences for the poorly trained woman so she can better identify in the future the type of good man who will treat her like the delicate flower that she believes she is.”
