This isn’t the first time animal rights groups complained about Senator Jim Inhofe’s annual fundraiser. Guests pay money to shoot pigeons as they’re tossed into the air and begin to fly away.
This year, a group called Showing Animals Respect and Kindness (S.H.A.R.K) put something of their own in the sky, but it didn’t last long.
S.H.A.R.K flew a drone near the event trying to get film but someone shot it down. KFOR reports the group says they filed a report but the Greer county sheriff told the there is nothing to investigate because shooting down a drone is not illegal.
