A man was booked into the Fayette County Jail after police said he couldn’t pay his cab fare.
According to Channel 11's news exchange partners at TribLIVE, the Brooklyn man was on a trip to see his fiancé.
The cab driver told police 35-year-old John Williams, Jr. and his children rode 304 miles from Philadelphia to Uniontown but refused to pay the $749 fare.
Williams is charged with theft of services.
According to TribLIVE, his children were left in the care of the woman who lives in the Wilson Avenue home where Williams had the cab stop.
