The biggest names in sports gathered Wednesday night in Los Angeles at the Microsoft Theater for the 2019 ESPY Awards to the honor the best and brightest in sports.
Hosted by comedian Tracy Morgan, show highlights included Rob Mendez, a high school football coach born without arms and legs, who received the Jimmy V Perseverance Award, and NBA legend Bill Russell, who was honored with the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.
Members of the U.S. Women National Soccer Team, fresh off their World Cup victory in France Sunday, were at the show as Alex Morgan won the Best Female Athlete award and the best team award.
