Just over 31,000 pounds of chicken products have been recalled following a concern that they may be contaminated with pieces of bone and other “extraneous materials.”
The United States Department of Agriculture issued a Class I recall of some Perdue Foods LLC chicken products.
The fully cooked chicken products were produced March 21, 2019 and include the following:
The problem was discovered after the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service as well as Perdue Foods received consumer complaints.
A Class I recall is a health hazard situation where there is a reasonable probability that the use of the product will cause serious, adverse health consequences or death.
