Texans love their guns, or so says U.S. Senator and GOP presidential hopeful Ted Cruz.
Cruz has been working the "free media" and a video of him actually cooking bacon while shooting is his latest statement.
The video by the Independent Journal Review was released Monday.
In the video, you see Cruz wrap the bacon around the barrel of the gun, top it with aluminum foil and fire away.
“There are few things I enjoy more than - on weekends - cooking breakfast with the family. Of course, in Texas, we cook bacon a little differently than most folks," he says.
In June, Cruz did impressions of characters from “The Simpsons.”
