Larry Sanders first spoke of their parents, Eli Sanders and Dorothy Glassberg Sanders.

"They did not have easy lives and they died young. It makes me immensely proud of their son and his accomplishments. They loved him," Larry Sanders said to applause from the crowd. "They loved the New Deal of Franklin Roosevelt, and would especially proud that Bernard is renewing that vision. It is with enormous pride that I cast my vote for Bernie Sanders."

As he cast his vote, the camera captured Sen. Sanders getting emotional as his wife, Jane Sanders, looked at him just as teary-eyed.

Ten votes were cast for Sanders and seven votes were cast for Hillary Clinton.
