Twitter users began comparing the Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to the "Harry Potter" villain Voldemort on Tuesday, after he suggested Muslims should be banned from America a day earlier. (Trump's proposal drew wide condemnation across the political and religious spectrum.)
J.K. Rowling, "Harry Potter" author and the creative mind behind Voldemort, retweeted a link from BBC News that said: "This is why people are calling American businessman, Donald Trump, Lord Voldemort."
The man himself, Trump has not tweeted or addressed the comparison yet.
