MUSKOGEE, Okla. — An Oklahoma mother’s five children who were killed early Tuesday in a shooting have been identified, according to reporter Peyton Yager.

Brittany Anderson’s children who were killed are Jalaiya (2), Jaidus (3), Harmony (5), Nevaeh (6) and Quedynce (9). Another man was killed, according to police.

Anderson was injured in the shooting and was hospitalized, Yager reported.

The suspect, who reportedly is the father of some of the children, has been identified, according to reporter Jonathan Cooper.

The suspect was identified as Jarron Pridgeon, Cooper reported, citing Muskogee Police.

Officers responded about 1:30 a.m. to a call of multiple people shot at a home in Muskogee, about 45 miles southeast of Tulsa, police said in a news release.

Once there, officers encountered a person with a gun who was later taken into custody. Officers at the scene found one man and four children dead, and a fifth child died at a Tulsa hospital, police said.
