Douglasville police have arrested a North Carolina homicide suspect, according to the FBI.

Mulana Amil Parks was wanted out of Greensboro, N.C., Stephen Emmett, special agent in the Atlanta office, told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. FBI agents assisted local police with the arrest.

Parks, 42, is accused of killing her boyfriend Kenneth Lee Galloway, whose body was found last week, according to Greensboro police. Galloway, 46, was found dead in Parks’ apartment on Banner Avenue on Oct. 16. His roommate had reported him missing for several days, police said.

The cause of Galloway’s death has not been determined, but it has been ruled a homicide. Police announced Wednesday that an arrest warrant had been issued for Parks.

Parks was arrested at Lee’s Motel on Ga. 5 in Douglasville, according to police. Details regarding the arrest were not available. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the arrest.
