The motorist killed in a weekend wreck on a south Fulton County interstate ramp has been identified as Grant Herron, 32, of McDonough.

The vehicle Herron was driving ran off the ramp from I-85 southbound to Senoia Road in Fairburn and into a wooded area between the ramp and the interstate.

Herron died at the scene.

The ramp was closed for about two hours following the 2 p.m. crash.
