A motorcyclist was flown to Grady Memorial Hospital after a single-vehicle accident that temporarily shut down all lanes of I-20 westbound before Fairburn Road.
The motorcycle crashed about 3:10 p.m. Saturday, the Georgia State Patrol said in an emailed statement. It was not immediately clear what caused the accident.
All lanes were closed for the medical helicopter to land and take off, the State Patrol said.
Just after 4 p.m., all lanes were reopened.
No other details were available Saturday.
