A virus outbreak at a CDC-occupied building in DeKalb County had several employees working from home today.

A gastroenteritis virus at a CDC building at Century Center has affected about 30 people, agency spokesman Tom Skinner told Channel 2 Action News.

He said employees of the affected building were sent home early Friday afternoon and were encouraged to telecommute until Thursday, the station reported.

Skinner said the affected building is leased and the CDC is working with the DeKalb County Health Department.
