New charges have been filed against a waitress accused of stealing credit card numbers from customers at two Dunwoody restaurants, police said Wednesday.

Nicey Marie Joseph, 26, of Forest Park, was arrested last month and charged with three counts of financial transaction card fraud, two counts of elder exploitation and two counts of identity fraud, Officer Tim Fecht with Dunwoody police previously said. Since Joseph’s arrest, additional victims have reported similar crimes involving the woman, who worked at both the Olive Garden and Memphis BBQ restaurants in Dunwoody, according to police.

Dunwoody police have filed two additional fraud charges against Joseph, Detective Blake Yeargin said Wednesday.

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office has also charged Joseph with financial card fraud, Lt. Jay Baker said Wednesday. After eating at the Dunwoody Olive Garden, a Cherokee resident reported the alleged crime to local police, who charged Joseph, Baker said.

According to DeKalb jail records, the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office also has charged Joseph.

Joseph, who had been employed since June at the restaurants, is accused of using a mobile card reader connected to a cellular phone in order to steal and fraudulently use victim’s credit card numbers when they paid for their meals, according to police.

Anyone who may have been a victim is asked to contact Yeargin at 678-382-6916. Investigators need restaurant receipts and proof of fraudulent activity on the credit card, such as additional charges.

Joseph remained Wednesday afternoon in the DeKalb jail, where she was being held on $14,000 bond, booking records showed.
