On Tuesday afternoon, Georgia State Patrol officers found a John’s Creek man who had left his home on that same day.

Emil Valhuerdi, 69, was found unharmed in Brunswick after GSP troopers spotted his car on I-95, according to Johns Creek police spokesman Doug Nurse.

Valhuerdi was instructed not to drive after suffering a stroke, but he left his house on Tuesday in a silver, four-door 2000 Mercedes after telling family members he was going to visit his mother in Hialeah, Fla., according to Johns Creek police.
