A former Oklahoma State basketball player reported missing from his northeast Atlanta apartment has been found safe, police said.

Gary Gaskins disappeared Friday night after leaving the Atlanta apartment he shares with his girlfriend, authorities said.

Gaskins’ girlfriend, Melissa Latham, filed a missing persons report Sunday. She told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that she received a text from Gaskins around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, just hours after he was last seen.

Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones said this morning that Gaskins “has been located at an area hospital and is in good health.”
