Missing Fairburn boy, 11, found safe

Sept 5, 2014A south Fulton County middle school student who never returned home after getting off his school bus Thursday afternoon was found safe Friday morning at a grocery store in neighboring Fayette County.
Ricky Wang, an 11-year-old student at Bear Creek Middle School, had last been seen getting off his school bus outside the Asbury Park subdivision around 4:30 p.m., according to Channel 2 Action News.
He was found just after daybreak Friday at a Publix store in Tyrone, Channel 2 reported.
Witnesses told police that the boy walked down Johnson Road toward Coweta County instead of into his subdivision.
The boy did not have a history of running away, but might have gotten in trouble at school Thursday, according to Channel 2.
