Mike Luckovich finishes his Round File for April 2019

Even though I was relating this idea to the Mueller report, it felt dated.

I wanted to do Bernie and Biden as the two old guys on sesame street, but this didn’t work because Bernie and Biden will actually participate in the debate, rather than be a part of the audience.

Florida’s close to allowing teachers to be armed. A number of kids at an Atlanta School were shot by a pellet gun, so I decided this one probably wasn’t appropriate

This cartoon was fun to draw.

This was a little wordy but I still liked it. went with something else.

I’ve done too many Trump as Putin’s puppet cartoons.

This is one I drew and liked, but at home, noticed I removed one “n” from Putin’s name, but left the “n” in “owns,” which if someone had guessed “n” on Wheel of Fortune, both Ns would’ve been gone. I was annoyed about that all evening.

This was my favorite this week.

I didn’t do this one because Trump doesn’t drink alcohol.

I liked this idea, there was just too much other crazy Trump stuff in the news.

I liked this one too, but this was a story from last week although it’s still reverberating.

I kind of think this one’s funny. It runs in the AJC on Sunday.

Trump is very tiring.

I’m surprised Barr would cover for this con man.

I seriously think Trump is nuts and he’s getting worse.

This is my favorite for the week.
