A man was arrested after he crashed his car into Tracy Mitchell’s home in Galesburg, the television station reported.

"I hear somebody coming down the road fast, and I mean, it woke me up," Mitchell told WWMT. "I could hear the car coming, and all of a sudden I heard the crash and yelled out for my son, and a car came barreling through the house."

Mitchell said the crashes began after a nearby road was reconfigured four years ago, the television station reported. There were no incidents in the three years before the road was changed, Mitchell said.
