Tiara Vann, who has worked at the Warren Post Office for two years, is charged with theft of mail by an officer or employee, the television station reported, citing federal court records.

According to an investigator with the Inspector General's Office, Vann admitted to keeping mail from her delivery route since September. The mail was discovered in January when a pest control technician was spraying Vann's townhouse in Clinton Township, WXYZ reported. The worker contacted the property management company of the townhouse, which then contacted investigators, the television station reported.

The U.S. Postal Office has not commented on the case, WXYZ reported.
