School’s out for the kids but, for working adults, the long holiday weekend is nearly over. (Sniffle.) Here’s what you may have missed, and what you need to know for your Memorial Day festivities.

Make time for traffic: Headed home Monday? Expect the worst. AAA predicts this will be the heaviest auto-traveled holiday weekend in a decade, commuter blogger Andria Simmons reports.
Where danger lurks: Tragedy befell at least one person who hit the water this weekend, a boater who went overboard into the Chattahoochee River. Fishermen reported seeing a body Saturday afternoon, and Forsyth County authorities pulled the corpse from the river bottom near the McGinnis Ferry Bridge.
The man’s identity was released Sunday.
Dramatic videos – plane crash, home invasion and family "intervention": On Friday, Chamblee police released dash cam footage showing the May 8 plane crash on I-285. The footage shows the plane drifting low to the ground before a massive plume of dark smoke erupts in the distance. Four people were killed in the crash.
Also on Friday, Atlanta police released surveillance footage of six masked men, their guns drawn, invading a home near Grant Park. No arrests have been made.

Trouble in East Point: Early Sunday, police found another dead body near an East Point shopping center. Security guard Antonio Spear was found shot inside an SUV, wedged next to fence about 200 yards from where police believe the crime began in the parking lot of the Tri-Cities Plaza strip mall.
