One lucky Mega Millions player could wake up $400 million richer Wednesday if he or she — and he or she alone — matches all six numbers in Tuesday night's drawing.

The numbers drawn were: 51, 24, 11, 33, 19, and Mega Ball 7.

The jackpot has been climbing since just after New Year's, when a player in Tennessee matched all six numbers in the Jan. 3 drawing and won a $61 million jackpot. It is the third-highest jackpot in Mega Millions history, behind only the record $656 million prize on March 30, 2012, and the $648 million won last December 17.

Of course, to match all six numbers in this post-St. Patrick's Day drawing, you'll need the luck of the Irish, along with the luck of the Spaniards, the Australians, the Canadians, the Chinese and everyone in between, as the odds of winning a Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 259 million.

If a single player matches all six numbers and chooses the cash option, he or she will receive a one-time payout of $224 million before taxes.

The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball multi-state lottery is $80 million.
