McDonald’s, UberEATS bring McDelivery to 1,000 locations including Atlanta

Next time you open your UberEATS app, you may notice a new restaurant in the lineup: McDonald’s.

That’s right. The fast food chain and delivery service have partnered to bring Big Macs and Chicken McNuggets right to your doorstep.

The companies made the announcement Wednesday, revealing that McDelivery is now available in more than 1,000 locations including Los Angeles, Chicago and Atlanta.

"We are bringing a new level of convenience to more of our customers as we continue to transform the McDonald's experience," McDonald's CEO Steve Easterbrook said in a statement.

UberEATS began testing McDelivery in January at 200 locations in Florida, and the dry run resulted in consistent growth and customer satisfaction, McDonald’s reported.

Mickey D's joins a few other popular restaurant chains, including Wendy'sKrispy Kreme and Panera Bread, that are giving home deliveries a try.
