Someone in New Jersey reportedly won $202 million in Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing, and thanks to a new law that went into effect in January in the Garden State, that person can remain anonymous.

The single ticket was sold at a Quick Stop Food Store in Edison, New Jersey, according to NBC New York.

The ticket matched all six numbers:  4, 6, 32, 52, 64 and the gold Mega Ball of 6.

The $202 million jackpot has a cash value of $142.2 million, but we may never learn the identity of one of the country’s newest mega-millionaires.

In January, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy signed a law that allows lottery winners to stay anonymous.

During his tenure, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie vetoed the legislation in 2013, arguing it would "undermine the transparency that provides taxpayers confidence in the integrity of the lottery and its games," according to nj.com.

But supporters of the law said lottery winners should be able to make their own choice about whether they wanted to publicize their windfall.

New Jersey joined a handful of other states, including Georgia, that allow lottery winners to hide their identities if their winnings top a certain amount.

The Mega Millions jackpot has been reset to $40 million, and the next drawing is scheduled on Valentine’s Day.
