MARTA police said they have deployed tactical and special response officers to assist Atlanta police during the active shooter investigation.

Their stations across the city have not been shut down, according to MARTA police Sgt. Deneya Littles.

“We also have extra police presence in the stations to ensure the safety of our patrons,” she added.
