U.S. Marshals and police are seeking the public’s help to locate Tarrant “Fool” Burton, who is wanted in connection with a July shootout that killed an Atlanta teen.

Armondo Dukes, 18, was an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire of gunfire near his Mechanicsville home, authorities said.

Burton allegedly pistol whipped a man earlier in the day, and when the beating victim encountered him the two began shooting at one another, authorities said.

Dukes was shot and killed, police said.

U.S. Marshals are considering Burton dangerous and are asking the public for any information that may assist in arresting him, Marshals spokesman Gavin Duffy said.

Authorities believe Burton may be hiding in the southwest Atlanta area.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers Atlanta at at 404-577-8477. Anonymous calls are accepted and rewards are available for anyone with information leading to an arrest or conviction.
