A man and a woman were found shot to death in a DeKalb County hotel room Monday afternoon, and police are still investigating who they are and why they might have been killed.

DeKalb police spokeswoman Mekka Parish told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that a maid at the Knights Inn found the two adults around 12:30 p.m.

“They do believe they have been dead for some time. We don’t know the length of time,” Parish said.

Neither has been identified either, and “detectives don’t have a clear motive,” according to Parish.
