She has not been named a suspect, but a 43-year-old woman is wanted for questioning in the stabbing death of a College Park man, police said.

Police were called shortly before 1 a.m. Tuesday to a Lakemont Drive apartment, where they found the body of Bernard Walton. Walton, 55, died from a stab wound to the upper chest, and his death was ruled a homicide, the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office said late Tuesday.

Witnesses told police Walton and the woman, Hazel Lunette Pinson, had been in an altercation. Police want to question Pinson, but have been unable to find her.

Pinson was last seen in the Washington Road and Camp Creek Parkway area of East Point and has possible addresses in Atlanta and Coweta County, College Park police said. She is 5-foot-4 and weighs 160 pounds, and has short hair, but may be wearing a wig.

Anyone with information on Pinson’s whereabouts is asked to call College Park police at 404-761-3131, 911 or the College Park anonymous tip line at 404-762-8664.
