A man killed Wednesday night following an argument in northwest Atlanta has been identified as Anthony Holland, 42, of Atlanta.

Police were called around 6 p.m. to the 500 block of English Avenue, where they found the deceased person, Capt. Paul Guerrucci with Atlanta police said.

The victim appeared to have been shot to death, Guerrucci said. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death, he said.

Witnesses reported hearing gunshots, Guerrucci said.

No further details were released.
