The body pulled from the Chattahoochee River Monday afternoon has been identified as that of a Georgia State University student from Tanzania.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office on Tuesday identified the man as Buyoya Biswalo, 32.

Biswalo was studying business management at Georgia State, according to his public Facebook profile.

Lt. James H. McGee, spokesman for Roswell Police Department, said the body was recovered about 1:54 p.m.
