A 71-year-old man reported missing from his care home last week was found safe Wednesday, Atlanta police said.

Obie James Cosby was located outside Grady Memorial Hospital slightly dehydrated but overall in good condition, authorities said. He currently is residing with his daughter.

Cosby, who has dementia, had previously been seen last Thursday at Holy Comforter Church on Woodland Avenue in southeast Atlanta, according to Officer Kim Jones. The church houses The Friendship Center, which offers programs for adults with disabilities, according to its website.

Cosby’s home is about six miles away, police said.
