Man fatally stabbed in SW Atlanta neighborhood, police say

A man died on Saturday evening after he was found stabbed in a southwest Atlanta neighborhood, according to police.

The victim was found with stab wounds in the 1300 block of Oakland Drive about 5 p.m., Atlanta police said in a statement. He was taken to a hospital, but did not survive.

Homicide investigators are still working to determine what led to the fatal incident. An investigation is ongoing.
