On Thursday, Atlanta police charged John H. Mack, 23, with murder in connection with the April 28 shooting death death of Cavarris Reams, said police spokesman John Chafee.

On April 28, at around 7:15 p.m., police responded to a report of a person injured and found a man dead from a gunshot wound at 185 Harper Rd in Southeast Atlanta. The man was identified as 22-year-old Reams.

John H. Mack, 23, was charged with murder in the death of Reams, said police spokesman John Chafee.

Mack was transported to Fulton County jail to await trial.
