Henry County police canceled a lookout for a runaway teenager after she was located uninjured in DeKalb County.

Erica Dawn Smith, 14, had last been seen walking from her bus stop to her home on Jimmy’s Lane in Ellenwood around 4 p.m. Monday.

“This incident may be in relation to a disciplinary issue from school that the juvenile was trying to avoid,” Henry County police Sgt. Joey Smith said.

“This case is still under investigation to determine what parties contributed to her running away from home,” Smith said early Thursday.
