Atlanta police are searching for three suspects who carjacked a woman after she arrived home at her apartment in southeast Atlanta. The incident was captured on security video posted on YouTube.

A man called 911 Wednesday and reported that his gray 2006 Nissan Altima, which was being driven by his wife, was stolen at gunpoint at the MillTown Lofts in the 700 block of Wylie Street.

The man told officers that  his wife was returning home from work and entered the apartment complex through the security gate, and a white car pulled in through the gate behind her, said Kim Jones, Atlanta police spokeswoman.

"She pulled into the parking space in front of her apartment and walked to the staircase," Jones said. "As she started walking up the stairs, three black males ran up behind her. One of them pointed a gun at her and told her, ‘Give me your stuff.' "

The victim dropped a bag containing her car keys and ran upstairs to her apartment, Jones said. The carjackers took the bag, which also contained an iPod and items for work, and drove off in the Nissan.

The carjackers were described as black males, about 6 feet tall and each weighing about 150 pounds. The suspect with the gun was wearing a white tank-top t-shirt and blue jeans.

The woman was not injured, Jones said.

The incident is similar to one that occurred at the MillTown Lofts on May 11.

A woman had arrived home when she was accosted by two gunmen who stole her car keys and attempted to flee in her car. The car failed to start and the gunmen fled. That incident is also on a video posted on YouTube.
