Work to start on new recreation center in Jonesboro
Ground will be broken at 10 a.m. Tuesday for a new Clayton County recreation center at 1457 Stockbridge Road in Jonesboro.
Plans call for the building to have a basketball court, heated indoor swimming pool, aerobics room and other facilities.
Parking will be available across the street from the construction site at the Creekside Shopping Plaza. For information, call 770-473-5751.
