Work on Ga. 316 will mean lane closures beginning Sunday

Work on Ga. 316 from I-85 to Sugarloaf Parkway will result in lane closures from 1 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday. A contractor will close one of the two lanes at a time to remove and replace old asphalt and stripe the lanes. Drivers should expect delays on Ga. 316 and on northbound I-85 and are advised to avoid the area.
