Woodstock has announced two community workshops to gather public comment for the Little River Park Master Plan.

Hosted by the city and the GreenbergFarrow architectural and engineering firm, the workshops will let residents review an initial park base map, ask questions, and suggest improvements and amenities, officials said.

The meetings are scheduled for 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 14, and Tuesday, March 19, at the City Annex Building, 12453 Highway 92, Woodstock. Little River Park, off Trickum Road near Barnes Road, is named for a stream that runs through the northern portion of the site. It will have slightly more than 100 acres.

The City Council in December approved a $96,720 contract with GreenbergFarrow to develop a park master plan, incorporating community participation with three main components: workshops, online and social media, and a public meeting.
