A southwest Atlanta woman woke up early Friday to find three masked burglars in her bedroom, police said.

The incident happened before 4 a.m. at a home on West Ontario Avenue.

When the victim, who was home alone, woke up, "there were some suspects moving her television off the dresser," Atlanta police Capt. Van Hobbs told Channel 2 Action News.

When one of the men realized that the woman was no longer asleep, "he pulled a gun on her, a shotgun," Hobbs said.

The men, who had entered the woman's home through a back window, ordered her to stay in the bed, then fled out the front door with the woman's TV, purse and cell phone, Channel 2 reported.

"I can imagine it was pretty frightful," Hobbs said.
