A woman robbed a bank near Duluth on Tuesday, making off with several thousand dollars in cash, police said.
The woman entered the SunTrust Bank at 2171 Pleasant Hill Road around 1:30 p.m., handed a threatening note to a teller and demanded money, said Cpl. Jake Smith, spokesman for the Gwinnett County Police Department.
The robber was given about $3,000 in cash and walked out of the bank, Smith said. She fled in a light-colored passenger car.
Police released a security photo of the robber. Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call Gwinnett police at 770-513-5300 or contact Atlanta Crime Stoppers at 404-557-TIPS.
