Woman extricated after car rolls over
A Marietta woman had to be extricated from her car after she struck two trees, causing the vehicle to roll over and land on the driver’s side.
Elizabeth Schlesinger, 57, was traveling north bound on the Canton Road Connector when she lost control of her 2005 Nissan Altima, according to Officer Michael Gardner with Marietta police.
The car entered the center grass median and struck two trees before rolling over, Gardner said. The one-car accident occurred about 5:30 p.m. Monday.
Schlesinger was trapped in the car, but was extricated by members of the Marietta and Cobb County fire departments. She was transported WellStar Kennestone Hospital, and is listed in fair condition, police said.
