Winning Jumbo Jumbo Bucks ticket sold in Norcross |Georgia lottery

A $25,000 Jumbo Jumbo Bucks lottery ticket was sold at Kroger in Norcross. The winning ticket was paid Aug. 1, 2016, after being purchased at the 30093 retailer.

The lucky ticket was one of at least 27 winning Jumbo Jumbo Bucks tickets claimed in the metro Atlanta area from July to October, according to data from the Georgia Lottery Corporation. The lottery provided data on prizes exceeding $600.

At least $107.8 million in winnings was claimed during that time from tickets sold at area stores .

All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia's Pre-K program. Check out winning numbers at http://www.ajc.com/lottery.
