Winning Ghostbusters lottery ticket sold at Tucker retailer in July

A $35,000 Ghostbusters lottery ticket was sold at BP in Tucker. The winning ticket was paid July 27, 2016, after being bought at the 30084 retailer.

The lucky ticket was the only winning Ghostbusters ticket more than $600 claimed in the metro Atlanta area from July to October, according to data from the Georgia Lottery Corporation. The lottery provided data on prizes exceeding $600.

At least $107.8 million in winnings was claimed during that time from tickets sold at area stores .

All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia's Pre-K program. Check out winning numbers at http://www.ajc.com/lottery.
