Winning Fantasy 5 ticket sold in Union City earlier this year
At least nine winning Fantasy 5 tickets were claimed in metro Atlanta from July to October 2016.

Dec 30, 2016A $1,635,392 Fantasy 5 lottery ticket was sold at Flat Shoals Texaco in Union City earlier this year. The winning ticket was paid Oct. 5.
The lucky ticket was one of at least nine winning Fantasy 5 tickets claimed in metro Atlanta from July to October, according to data from the Georgia Lottery Corp. The lottery provided data on prizes exceeding $600.
At least $107.8 million in winnings was claimed in Georgia during that time.
All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia's Pre-K program. Check out winning numbers at http://www.ajc.com/lottery.
