A wine market and tasting room is to open this spring off Canton Street in Plum Tree Village in the downtown Roswell historic district.
Deep Roots Wine Market & Tasting Room will sell and serve selected California wines not normally available in local grocery or liquor stores, according to an announcement by Roswell Inc, economic development agency for the city.
The tasting room will have six Napa Technology wine pouring stations, allowing customers to purchase one-, three- and six-ounce pours of 24 different wines using a reloadable prepaid card. Deeps Roots will also feature a daily wine flight poured by staff, craft beers on tap, and food provided by Plum Café.
“Roswell’s craft beverage industry continues to grow with the addition of Deep Roots to our business community,” said Steve Stroud, executive director of Roswell Inc. “This business is the perfect complement to the already flourishing historic district, and our team is happy we could assist with the site selection process.”
